.......Get a good restaurant reservation, enjoy cooler
temperatures, walk the streets of Santa Fe with ease. With an average high
temperature of 83 degrees and low temperature of 51 degrees, the sunny days are
ideal for getting out and exploring Santa Fe without the larger crowds of July
and August. The choices of adventures are endless.
You can
start with the art scene and historic buildings around the Plaza and move on to
hiking, horseback riding, playing golf or river rafting. Within driving
distance to the north, south, east or west you can experience Indian Pueblos or
ancient cliff dwellings, fine wineries or micro breweries. On your visit to
Santa Fe you will discover that whatever direction you go out of town, you will
see vastly different landscapes. You can discover to the North the colorful
rock formations of Georgia O'Keefe country; to the East you find the Mountains with
numerous hiking trails in the pines and Aspen; to the West, Los Alamos and
Bandelier National Park; and to the south Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument to
name a few.
