Guests who visit The Don Gaspar Inn in celebration of Memorial Day can visit Albuquerque to experience the best wines offered by local New Mexico wineries. Located at the Balloon Fiesta Fairgrounds, The Albuquerque Wine Festival highlights wines from featured New Mexican wineries, arts and crafts, food, live music and educational programs on the lush grass of Balloon Fiesta Park.
On Saturday, May 29 through Monday, May 31 the festival features daily festivities noon through 6 PM. Entertainment includes the musical stylings of Bad Katz Blues and the DaddyOs on Saturday, 432 and Undiskovered on Sunday, and Grupo Garan and Combo Special on Memorial Day.
The Albuquerque Wine Festival is sponsored by the New Mexico Wine Growers Association. A $15 admission includes a souvenir glass. Entry for those under 21 is free with a parent or guardian. For tickets and more information visit www.abqwinefestival.com.
