Body of Santa Fe Features Eclectic Music and Dance Performances in May
The Don Gaspar Inn partners with Body of Santa Fe to offer our guests special discounts to spa, yoga, and musical events. In May, Body will be featuring a great selection of music and dance performances with an international appeal. On May 3, the Mosaic Dance Company will present Belly Dancing. One of the top belly dance companies in America today, Mosaic presents a diverse repertoire honoring the traditions of Middle Eastern arts as they relate to American culture. Admission is free of charge and donations are accepted. On Saturday, May 1, at 7 PM, Jutta and the Hi-Dukes World Folk Music presents an eclectic mix of Greek Hasapiko and Danish Hopsa. General admission is $10. $7 for students and seniors. Sunday, May 2, 7 PM, enjoy the musical stylings of Gong Bath with Richard Rudis, a healing sound pioneer who creates transformational waves of sound with the tonalities and vibrations of a huge Earth Gong tuned to the sound of the incorruptible seed syllable ‘AUM’- the Universal Chord. $15 presale, $20 door. On Sunday, May 23 at 6:30 PM, experience an evening of transformational healing music, original heartsongs and chants from around the world performed by by Anton Mizerak & Kim Lorene. The concert will feature Anton and Kim's original music, followed by participatory chants (many in Sanskrit) from around the world. Admission by donation.
