The Galleries at the Travellers Market is featuring a luxurious pillow show offering a collection of traditional and “repurposed” textiles from around the world. A selection of silks, cottons, linens, indigo, mud & kuba (an ancient African tradition of raffia cloth weaving), ikats (style of weaving that uses a tie-dye process), embroideries and appliques will be showcased from Saturday, Nov 14 2009 to Sunday, Dec 06. Hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays: 10 AM to 5 PM and Weekends, from 12 PM to 5 PM. The event is free of charge. Location: Traveler’s Market DeVargas Center (behind the Office Depot).
