Cris Weatherby is hosting a watercolor workshop at The Don Gaspar Inn this week from November 1st through 5th. The class features demonstrations and a personal hands-on experience in the solace of the private Don Gaspar Inn compound. Attendees will learn drawing for watercolors, values, composition, and the many aspects of color. Light and shadow being a favorite teaching point, the beauty of the Aspens and courtyards at the Inn offer an ideal classroom. Students are able to set up all around the grounds pursuing their composition and Cris
offers individual assistance in addition to group instruction. A wonderful opportunity for all.
Cris Weatherby offers classes on site in her Encinitas studio and plans for an annual retreat in Santa Fe. Paintings by Cris Weatherby have been shown at the San Diego Watercolor Society's Show Case Gallery, The Randall M. Hasson Gallery, the Off Track Gallery in Leucadia and the gallery at the San Diego Hospice. She is currently an invited member of the artist's guild for the San Diego Museum of Art.
