In Service of the Inn...

We had family at the Inn last week. For the first time one evening, I entered the property as a guest would while dropping them off at their casita. From the Main House parking space on Don Gaspar...we entered the courtyards through the old wooden doors that welcome you as the "secret garden" would. I stood there for a moment and saw with new eyes how charming this special place was. The trees were all lit up and the gardens were aglow. It struck me as a glorious hidden treasure in the middle of what is already a magical place. I looked around and realized the amount of work Shirley and David had heartwarmingly put into these three homes, the gardens and the land. Over 100 years old now...the property still shone with the pride of being well loved. The brick walkways led us to the private french door entrance and the fountain welcomed us home in the middle of the trees - all aglow with warmth. I dropped the family off...and was humbled to be entrusted with this sacred and historic place. We hope you come some day...
